Publications

The publishing history of Orbit, the TES in-house magazine, has been long and eventful. From a four-page monochrome production, it has progressed to being a full-fledged, 64 page, multi-colour news stand magazine full of informative articles. Each issue is devoted to a cover story which is of vital importance to the student-teacher-parent community.

Ashwath

Ashwath is an inspiring collection of poems, songs, shlokas and prayers, compiled from diverse sources. A must-read for the entire family, it is a fountain of wisdom, love and peace, not found in the usual text books.

Arete

Arete is the second gem to be published under the Takshila Value Series. It is a collection of timeless English poems written by great poets over a couple of centuries. Poems in Arete cover almost the entire gamut of human emotions and will touch the hearts of both students of English literature as well as others. A timeline and a very useful appendix have been provided for readers.

Orbit

Orbit is our in-house magazine that defies the normal definition of a school magazine. Rich in content and with great visual appeal, it focuses on issues that are important for the trinity of student, parent and teachers. The current issue has been dedicated to our fragile environment with eye-opening articles by eminent experts in thefield. It also has a rich reservoir of features on other topics. Students and parents will find great tips on how to become green warriors!

The next issue of Orbit will focus on Information Literacy Skills and the school community is invited to send their articles on these issues.

Teamwork Teamwork: Parent Partnership Program is a booklet published every year for the benefit of parents sending their children to DPS for the first time. It addresses important parenting issues, child behaviour, nutrition and various related matters. It also contains a section on FAQs, which parents sending their child for the first time to school need answers to. Click the thumbnail to download.
